We are 7 Douglas College students traveling to Uganda, Africa to complete our practicums in Community Social Service Worker, Co-occurring Disorders, Early Childhood Education and Therapeutic Recreation. Our journey has been underway for a while but our flights officially leave Vancouver on April 13th 2011. This blog is a record of our experiences.     I spent a month in Ugande about 10 years ago. It was amazing to see the bullet holes in the buildings from Amin's time - even so long after he had left.

    Watch the movie "The Raid on Entebbe" and then go visit the spot. It is a real eye opener!

    And last go visit Sese Isl. It is an amazing island and is in one of the largest and deepest lakes in Afirca.
